Ways to optimize you place in the search:

  • Finding good keywords:

    • First, search Google to find companies/organizations that have high rankings and have sites like yours

    • Also look at Google’s suggested searches below the rankings

    • Search Alexa.com to see what these companies are using as keywords

      • Go to Alexa.com and put the companies sites that you found into their search and find the keywords that make them successful…and use them!

  • Use Title Tags: A title tag tells both users and search engines what the topic of a particular page is. The <title> tag should be placed within the <head> tag of the HTML document. Ideally, you should create a unique title for each page on your site.  Example: <title>Good Keyword name</title> This is simple to do in Wix.com

  • Add Page Description: The page description is a Meta Tag. It provides potential site visitors a summary of what your page is about. It is not visible on your site's page, but appears below your title in search results

  • Have a simple to use URL

  • Have simple navigation

Analytics is the discovery and communication of meaningful patterns in data.
