My name is James Emerich and I am a Singer Songwriter and an eclectic international recording artist.  I am originally from Los Angeles, California.  I write the music, lyrics, arrangement and create a video to bring the story to life.

 

Education and work history

 

• Received  my Bachelor of Arts Degree in (acting and directing) from California State University of Los Angeles in 1983.

 

• Acted in plays, movies and television. 

 

• Entertained for over twenty years in the Los Angeles, California   area

    

• Performed throughout Mexico in tourist resorts and small pueblos for three years during the 80's

 

• Love Boat (Princess Cruise Lines) with The James Emerich Trio in the 90's.

 

• The Great American Lounge Act, 2000 - 2004 

      I had the pleasure to work with the beautiful and amazing Lana         Starr and the gorgeous Velvet Summer.  I sang as Jimmy Casino,         my alter ego , and we were The Great American Lounge Act.  

 

Overall, I've been entertaining for over thirty years, not including my second grade performance in Ms. Sandejas class.

 

I left Los Angeles in 2004 to seek out new opportunities.  I lived in  Ormond Beach, Florida and performed throughout the area. I currently reside in Windsor, Connecticut where I continue to record new material.

 

After a ten year absences from the stage,  I've  started to write again and perform. I'm back and ready for my second act in life.  I hope you join me and stay tune for The Revival of a Troubadour.
