Practicing Vegan
This section of our blog is dedicated to our quest to be Vegan. We call it a "practice" because it is something that you work on over time to achieve goals. Just like with anything you want to become good at, you must practice.
You would think that it would be pretty easy if you are already vegetarian, right? Well, shopping as a vegetarian is pretty simple, you just buy stuff that does not contain meat. When you add dairy and eggs to the restrictions, you have a whole new deal. You now have to read every label because stuff that you thought would be "animal free" usually has either egg or milk in it.
All the good stuff in this bread and look there in the ingredients...EGGS!
So, I thought this blog might help those who are considering this life change and some things that have worked for us and other things we will learn along the way.
Even choosing to start Vegetarian...even one day a week...helps both animals and you live longer lives.
