2007-2015: Television Production/Film/Theatre Teacher.  Taylor Middle/High School:(Pierson).  Responsible for creating and implementing Television/Film Production to grades 6th-12th.  Taught use of camera, acting, lighting, sound and editing equipment in state-of-the-art facility.   Students on all grade levels are writing, directing, acting and editing their own weekly show.  Editing systems: Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Adobe Premiere. Also taught theatrical production including, acting, original play writing and stage technology.  Awarded the first Academy based on my work: The Taylor Center of Arts and Technology.  Full-time Teacher.

Keiser University (Daytona Beach) Community Relations Coordinator.  Responsible for building relationships and university reputation in the community through presentations and community involvement. 

 

Hallmark Hall of Fame Pictures (Los Angeles), Responsibilities: Executive Assistant/Project Coordinator to lead Executive Producers of movies for television.  Coordinate and run day-to-day operations of busy production office.

 

Suzanne DeLaurentiis Productions (Los Angeles), Responsibilities: Production Manager/Coordinator, supervise office, film set, and post- production and help with public relations for independent film and video company. Oversee locations, crew, cast contracts, equipment, and unions.  Involvement from development, pre-production, filming, and post-production.  Also assisted in casting.  Reason for leaving: Company relocated

  • Campus Reboot has been officially selected for inclusion in the 2020 Virginia Tech- The Virginia Dares Cinematic Arts Award and Conference for Decolonizing/Re-Indigenizing Media.  Peer-reviewed acceptance.

 

 

  • Project/Screening- “Finding Matilda- The Anne Frank of Lithuania”, written and directed by Susan Cardillo, student-filmmaker, Kyle Conti. Documentary about Matilda Olkin, a Lithuanian college student and poet who was murdered in 1942, for being Jewish. Dr. Cardillo and 5 University of Hartford students travelled to Lithuania to follow Dr. Richard Freund as he and his team of archeologists searched for and found her unmarked grave.he Screen & Sound Cultures research group within RMIT University’s School of Media and Communication, in collaboration with the Australian Screen Production Education and Research Association (ASPERA), screened “Finding Matilda” at the Sightlines 2019 Conference/Festival. Peer-reviewed acceptance- Finding Matilda was chosen as the top 20% of all submissions.   

   

 

 

  • Project/Screening-“Finding Matilda-The Anne Frank of Lithuania”. The Department of History, Human Sciences and Education of the University of Sassari and the Società Umanitaria -Cineteca Sarda, have chosen “Finding Matilda” for their 2019 the Competition for ethnographic film productions. The competition aims to promote the production of films that can contribute to the awareness of ethnographic cultural realities through the audiovisual medium and pursues the objective of protecting and implementing, in a scientific and systematic manner, national and foreign audiovisual productions concerning the ethnographic, archaeological, historical, cultural-linguistic and environmental heritages. Peer-reviewed acceptance. 

 

  • Finding Matilada- accepted/selected to the Southeast Regional Film Festival in Jacksonville, Florida. Chosen top 5% of over 2000 submissions as a Semi-Finalist.

 

 

  • Finding Matilda- accepted/selected to the 2020 International Rovereto DOC Fest (former Rassegna Internazionale del Cinema Archeologico - Rovereto)- This international archeological film festival celebrates producers, film directors and cinema and television authors who have made films with the aim of preserving and enhancing cultural features and the world cultural heritage. Peer-reviewed acceptance.

 

  • Finding Matilda- Peer-reviewed accepted/selected to the 2020 Golden Tree International Documentary Film Festival.  Golden Tree aims to encourage greater global attention on documentary film and to promote quality films focusing on diverse civilizations and cultures from across the world. This festival pays close attention to Technical Development and the Roots of Culture in documentary film. There were 4,486 films registered from 135 countries and regions.

 

 

  • Project- “The Beatrice Sussman Story”. Documentary about a local Holocaust survivor. This project was done for a specific Hartford area family whose mother was a Holocaust survivor.
